Get Started With CrossFit

There are several ways you can get started with CrossFit training at Lamorinda CrossFit. We offer one-on-one personal training, newbie workouts, and group classes.

If you're new to CrossFit, you first need to go through the CrossFit Fundamentals Program. This consists of the Newbie and Fundamentals Classes. Once you are "up to speed" you can participate in all of our group workout classes and/or train with a personal trainer.

Intro To CrossFit

Intro session is FREE to all first time CrossFitters!

Every Saturday, 11:00 am to 12:30 pm

In our basic Intro Class we will:

  • Explain the ideas and concepts of CrossFit
  • Learn basic moves, used in all exercises
  • Measure your level of fitness
  • Discuss your goals and help you decide how best to move towards achieving them
  • Put you through the Newbie Workout

This will give you a taste for what the WOD (Workout of the Day) is like and establish a benchmark to measure your later workouts against.

Fundamentals Class

In this 3-Session Class you will meet one-on-one with a trainer. It will get you started with all the basics of CrossFit.

In this class you will:

  • Become familiar with all basic CrossFit exercises
  • Practice proper posture and alignment
  • Learn how to use the equipment, safely
  • Prepare yourself to join regular group classes
  • Move past your own pre-set limits for yourself and discover what your body can really do!
  • Most of all ... you will get started on your new life!

* First Responders are people working in the medical field. This includes fire fighters, police, EMT's, military, and teachers.

Personal Training

If you prefer to work one-on-one with a trainer, you will get all the benefits above, plus:

  • Individualized training set for your personal ability and level
  • Private workouts, geared to your personal goals
  • Compare results only to yourself, watching your own progress

Come with an open mind and wearing clothes you can move and sweat in.
